"The first commune was destroyed because of women's jealousies. They were fighting continuously. The second commune was destroyed because of women's jealousies. And this is the third commune – and the last, because I am getting tired. Once in a while I think perhaps Buddha was right not to allow any women in his commune for twenty years. I am not in favor of him: I am the first who has allowed men and women the same, equal opportunity for enlightenment. But I have burnt my fingers twice, and it has always been the jealousy of the women."

In view of Osho's quotation above, these were unfortunately Osho's chief female disciples and of course were all Indians. The first Osho Commune was established by his disciples in 1974 in Pune, India. The second Osho Commune was established in Oregon, U.S. A. in the year 1982 and the last Osho Commune has been established in Pune again in the year 1986 called as Pune-II. Osho's secretaries were the heads of these communes who were all women. How they all fell victim to jealousy and tried to destroy Osho Communes, their history as appear in www.osho.com ,in Osho Talks as well as in the books written by Osho's disciples is as under:-

When Osho was in the body, every sannyasins and His friends all over the world were very much concerned about His health and security. And those who were near to Him and taking care of Him were always walking on razor's edge remaining aware of His health and body needs. Fortunately this all was accomplished in the best possible way. We have great reverence and thankfulness for all those who were involved in this work during such long period of time.

Now as Osho's existence in the body is no longer there, there is no question of His security and health. But what about his words and many other works which has been created or come into existence during this long period of time of about forty years. Do these not need protection as to their originality and purity? Are these not to be protected from being diluted, miss-represented? Should these be left prone to interpolation and extrapolation by any religious fanatic? Should these be left open for miss-use by any businessman for deriving monetary benefits to satisfy his greed? These are the questions which I ask from all friends and lovers of Osho to reply for themselves.

When Osho criticized Mother Teresa, people were surprised because she has been doing great work for the economic and social uplift of the poor and down trodden by opening schools, hospitals and orphanages .She had also been awarded Nobel Prize for her social services. Osho could see the intentions of Mother Teresa behind this all. The intention was to increase the number of Catholics by converting the poor into Catholicism. Similar has been the case with Osho World Foundation.

This Foundation was created by the Osho Sannyasins who had left Osho Commune, Pune in the year 2000 under the leadership of Ma Yoga Neelam. These people were deeply hurt on being banned from entering Pune commune for being destructive to the commune and Osho's vision in India. Out of anger and jealousy they started a campaign against Osho Commune, Pune and the sannyasins who were managing the same.

They, of course, have to use Osho's name and His words for this purpose. They started publishing new magazine Osho World and launched their own website Oshoworld.com. This was good so far as spreading the message of Osho was concerned. Their efforts in this respect are commendable. But the intentions behind all this were like that of Mother Teresa. They are doing this all to show that they are the true representatives of Osho and His movement for the birth of a New Man. They are working against the rebellious spirit of Osho's Vision:

More than 700 books, about 10,000 volumes of audio discourse containing perennial wisdom, 1800 volumes of video recordings, to be more correct, Swami Chaitannya Kirti, Editor of Osho World Magazine has kept exact figures of these things which has been claimed before the court as under: 9000 hours of audio discourses,1870 hours of videos 650 Books, 850 Paintings, 80,000 books in Osho's library, Osho's Signature Arts, Original Archives and Meditation Music.

He is one of the main claimants of Osho's legacy. In case various courts are going to declare 'Osho World' Group, New Delhi as the legal heirs, then certainly they will need these accurate figures to make an inventory while taking over the possession of all these from Osho International Foundation. We hope them good luck mainly to Ma Yoga Neelam and Swami Chaitannya Kirti. After all they have devoted a major part of their life for Osho Work and what they have got? Such a great treasure of intellectual property that too by the most controversial and world-renowned enlightened master! Who will not like to have the legacy of such a man; more so when such enlighten master do not have any attachment with any of these articles except that these are properly preserved as they are and made available to those who want to transform their lives taking guidance from them?

Some of Osho sannyasins have raised doubts in fair management of Osho International Meditation Resort, Pune, India. These doubts are mainly regarding its financial management and administration. The purpose of writing this chapter is to present the real facts that prevail in Osho International Meditation Resort (OIMR), Pune. We are concentrating only on the management aspect and not going into the alleged financial matters. The commonly raised questions and reply of Osho International Foundation(OIF) to the same on the basis of affidavit filed in a court case are being given hereunder for the information of Osho sannyasins and friends to clear the doubts and confusion created by some persons who are working against OIF and sannyasins managing Pune Commune:-

Most of the people, who read Osho's books or listen to His discourses, are of the opinion that there are many contradictions in what He says. Almost same is the opinion of many of Osho's disciples, even with those who claim to have better understanding of His ideas. In fact there are no contradictions because Osho's vision has grown like a tree. It has progressed from seed to the flowering and fragrance. There should not be any contradiction in a seed and a full grown tree, its flowers and fragrance. When we see a seed of flower, it is not easy to perceive the vast potential it contains unless we have actually seen the flower and tasted its fragrance. Nevertheless, it will be impossible to communicate this experience to those who have seen only the seed and not the flower. Same is the case with man's inner flowering: his growth and development of consciousness.

It is the case of man's journey from unconsciousness to the super consciousness and beyond. The person who has reached to his highest potential always has found it almost impossible to motivate others to go on such a journey. In expounding his vision he has to take the other person with him from the state he is and walk a little ahead on the path trodden by him. By and by as the other person progresses towards his potential, higher secrets are revealed to him giving higher goals. This is because people, as they are in the state of unconsciousness and living in lies, are not ready even to listen, not to speak of understanding the Truth of such a man who has reached in the state of enlightenment. Under such circumstances, sometimes a man of Truth has to quote the pills of Truth with sugar of lies during the course of his work upon us. Osho is not an exception to face this dilemma. In one of His discourses on 08-06-1979 He first time revealed that His views on various points were going through a change. In 1986 Osho again confirmed that there has been great change in His views because He is not a rotten pond but a flowing Ganges:-

Q. Osho, From What you have experienced in the past thirty-two years, after living both in India and abroad, is there any significant change in your thoughts about India, America, religion, sex, and the problems of India and their solutions?

"Great change has come, because I am not a rotten stagnant pond. I am flowing Ganges. I am moving forward each moment. …

The seed is the same – it has become the tree, foliaged more and more. So I will certainly not say the same – it has become the tree, the foliage and the blossoming flowers. In my life I have not grown in opposition to anything. Rather whatever I have said, I have only refined it more and more. So I will certainly not say the same things that I was saying thirty years ago.

Thirty years ago I was talking of the seeds; now I am showering the flowers."

Samadhi or Enlightenment is a rare phenomenon, and to be an enlightened Master is the rarest. Most fortunate are those who have the opportunity to be in the presence of an enlightened Master and seek his guidance for their own enlightenment. Still , in spite of proper guidance, very few reach to the state of enlightenment because the journey towards such height of consciousness is not so easy. How long a seeker will have to wait, nothing can be said. It is said that one has to stake everything in life; still it cannot be certain that one will reach. It may take one life or many lives. Those who choose to go really on such arduous journey are also rare. Therefore, most of the seekers are in search of shortcuts to complete this journey. But nobody has ever reached enlightenment through short cuts. Every shortcut will lead to false enlightenment or false Samadhi. Moreover, nobody bothers to find whether one has reached to true Samadhi or false Samadhi. Therefore, there are people everywhere in India who claim to have attained Samadhi and are leading others to enlightenment.

These so called Gurus provide shortcuts and attract many people who do not want to pay the cost by going on the tedious and long journey towards real Samadhi. Moreover, Samadhi being an inner experience, is invisible. So it is open for anybody to claim enlightenment and lead others to Samadhi. And these merchants of invisible goods are running good business. Such business not only gives money but also prestige. This also gives great nourishment to their ego. And the wonder of wonder is that every one of such claimants of Samadhi or Gurus succeed in collecting followers. It seems there is no dearth of blind people on the earth.

Such misfortune has happened among Osho Sannyasins also. Few Osho Sannyasins took the opportunity to ride on the high waive of Osho's worldwide goodwill and fulfill their long cherished desire to become Gurus. They declared themselves to have achieved Enlightenment. They became Gurus and started giving short cuts to others for achieving Samadhi or Enlightenment. As they could not walk on their own feet( because false has no feet) they started using the name 'Osho', Osho's photos and selected parts of His discourses which suit to their ideas and motives.

One of such groups is 'Osho Dhara Group' having its Head Office at Murthal, Haryana. It has been promoted by so called Osho Siddharth, Osho Shailender and Osho Priya. They are also called 'Osho Trivir' by their flock of sheep.

It is a spiritual reality that until a seeker of Truth reaches the state of full awakening, there are chances to regress not only to the state from where he had started his journey but even below that. The higher one goes on this journey the more are the chances of his falling in the deeper and darker valleys. This is because with the spiritual progress the ego also becomes more and more refined and subtle; it takes new forms and blur the vision of the seeker. It takes the forms of being more spiritual, more meditative and superior to others. It distracts the seekers in such subtle ways that almost all of them fall prey to it. Sitting on their heads it cannot be seen by themselves. It is of course visible to others but no to oneself. This is the first and the last bondage of a seeker of Truth.

Many Osho sannyasins were caught in this Ego-trap. Almost all of the old Indian sannyasins who thought themselves as senior to other sannyasins or who treated themselves as more advanced in meditation or who have the opportunity to be near to Osho and having some powers and prestige ( which was not there now ) became teachers of Osho Meditations. There is nothing wrong in teaching the meditation. But in this process they became holier than though. This is against the vision of Osho. But who cares what He has said when there comes an opportunity to fulfill the ego.(* See below what Osho has said about this)

They started to play the role of Osho by conducting the meditation camps posing themselves as some special having the capacity of Master, starting initiating the new comers into Sannyas in the old traditional way which was stopped by Osho Himself as the same was giving birth to Gurudom against which Osho had been speaking in whole of His life. They started giving discourses repeating g what Osho had said but showing it their own experience. Even being near to Osho and being longtime meditators, they did not have that much sincerity to say that they are the fellow travelers and not in any way higher to others. On the contrary they became the leaders and others the followers which is against the vision of Osho. (**See below what Osho has said about this) This gave them money, power and also prestige among new sannyasins and others with whom they made contacts. This is what everyone aspires for in this world. In short they became Mini-Gurus. This was great nourishment for their ego. And thus what was gained by meditating in the presence of Osho during so many years was destroyed and they regressed to the same point from where they had started the journey. This is the truth but nobody who is in this trap of ego will see and accept it. There is nothing new and unexpected in this. This had happened with the vision of all the great Masters.

"I AM AGAINST MISSIONARIES; IT IS AN UGLY PHENOMENON………." OSHO

At several occasions Osho was asked by his friends and lovers as to how they can spread his vision and message of meditation and love in the world. In reply to the same the response of Osho was always strange and unexpected:-

BELOVED OSHO,
MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE I WANT YOUR VISION TO HAPPEN. WHEN I AM NOT WITH YOU, AND I AM OUT IN THE WORLD, ALONE, WHAT PART CAN I PLAY IN HELPING YOUR VISION TO HAPPEN?

"Just be yourself, utterly yourself. And never think in terms of how you can help my vision to happen in the world, because that's what makes a missionary – and I am against missionaries. They are the prisoners. Their intention is good, they want to spread something which they feel is immensely valuable, but a missionary does not know that what he is trying to spread is not his own experience. So I would like to make it clear that you just be yourself, and that will be the way of spreading my message to people, because that's my message – to be yourself authentically, sincerely. It is not a question of saying something to somebody; it is a question of being somebody in a way that the vision radiates from you... that the people feel that something has happened to you that has not happened to them... that there is something in you that they are missing... that you are full and they are empty... that you can give and yet you will not be losing anything. And they are only beggars; they cannot give, they can only take. And whatsoever they take also disappears soon because it is not their own. I would not like my people to be like Christian missionaries."

The above reply was a hit of Osho's Zen stick to those who wanted to be leaders or gurus of others before realizing their own enlightenment or who would pose themselves as enlightened and play the role of religious leaders. This was a great blow to their ego. Nobody would have expected such reply. Anybody would have expected that Osho will advise the ways and means through which His vision could be spread so that more and more people could benefit from the same. But the condition which has been set by Osho for His vision to happen in the world is almost impossible. Many Osho sannyasins must have thought that Osho should not have said this. But a man of full awareness well understands the mind of the man asleep. It is easy for a blind to take the words of awakened man as his own and become a preacher. But to awaken is arduous and there is no scope in this process to nourish one's ego.

When Anando addressed you as Gurudev, you misunderstood her. She is addressing you by your name as Gurudev because she well understands that you are not a Guru (the enlightened master) but a teacher. But this type of misunderstanding is inevitable where the man is at the helm of ego. Gurudev is your name as was given to you by your followers and not an adjective which you misconstrued. You say this is no more 'gurudev' but 'whosoever'. Does it make any difference? You think that by calling yourself as 'whosoever' you become whosoever i.e. an unknown entity. This is not so easy because now your name has been changed from 'gurudev' to whosoever. But still you are as much yourself as you were when your name was Harish Chander. This appears from the manner you have replied Anando's letter in your book 'Osho Is Not a Person'. She had not asked you who Osho is at present. She had asked about the Osho when He was in the body. Your letter can also be interpreted in the same manner in which you have interpreted the above letter. Here is the interpretation:

The letter written to you by Anando, as I understand it from its contents, was a business type letter. She had not put before you a spiritual or philosophical question neither she expected such reply from you. But you replied it in a philosophical way and could not resist the temptation to deliver a spiritual sermon. This has revealed whether you have disappeared as an ego or disappeared as an individual. It is very easy to surrender the individuality but most difficult to surrender the ego. What you had said to her she already knew better than you. She has been listening to Osho sitting at His feet while you were running place to place conducting meditation camps or taking snaps with your camera. She well understands the difference between a person and his presence. But the fact remains that a man who is knowledgeable could not resist the temptation to show his knowledge to others. That is why you seized the opportunity to show that you are somebody; somebody special, an enlightened master. A 'Nobody' is nobody by living experience of egolessness; one cannot be 'nobody' by saying that he has disappeared and become 'nobody'. He is still somebody. Have you come across following words of Osho?:-

"THE MAN OF TAO REMAINS UNKNOWN.
PERFECT VIRTUE PRODUCES NOTHING.
NO SELF IS TRUE SELF. AND THE GREATEST MAN IS NOBODY.

Listen.... The man of Tao remains unknown. Not that nobody will know him, but it is up to you to discover him. He is not making any effort to be known. Effort to be known comes from the ego, because ego cannot exist when you are unknown, it exists only when you are known. It exists, feeds, when people look at you, when they pay attention to you, when you are somebody important, significant."

So many people I have trusted so totally have betrayed me so easily. There was a moment they were ready to die for me and just some small thing... if I was not fulfilling their expectation, which I have never agreed to fulfill, their love changes into great hate. The same person who was ready to die for me is ready to kill me."

THEREFORE THE SAYING: "UNTILL ONE REACHES ON THE TOP OF THE PEAK AND RELAX THERE, THERE IS EVERY CHANCE OF HIS FALLING BACK. Before the year 1970 most of Osho's talks were in Hindi language. These talks were in the beginning published in small booklets and pocket books. Some big volumes in Hindi series had also been published but their circulation was limited to India. From the year 1970 Osho started speaking in English because by that time His lovers from the foreign countries had started reaching to him for participating in the meditation camps and listening to His discourses. During some of the meditation camps Osho also talked in Hindi as well as in English alternatively in the same discourse because there used to be large number of Indian as well as foreign lovers. The number of foreign lovers from different countries was increasing day by day.

Up to the year 1970 almost all the lovers who were attending to him and carrying on the work of recording Osho's discourses, editing and publishing the same in book forms, were Indian. Swami Yog Chinmaya used to be Osho's secretary. Ma Yoga Laxmi succeeded him in the year 1973

Neo-Sannyas movement was started in the year 1970 when Osho initiated into Neo-Sannyas few of His lovers . Since then lovers of Osho were used to be called sannyasins: those who live in the world but are not attached to it.

As the number of sannyasin had increased and work relating to spreading the message of Osho also increased, more space was required. Therefore, Osho shifted to Pune in Maharashtra and His sannyasins established a commune there in the year 1974. By that time the foreign sannyasins had outnumbered the Indian sannyasin. Among these foreign sannyasins, there were many having international caliber. There were writers, editors, artists, book designers, film producers, photographers, Lawyers and academicians of different subjects of international standard and repute. They took over most of the technical work of recording and reproducing the audio and video discourses. They started editing, designing typesetting these discourses and making arrangements for publishing and printing in the form of books and magazines of international standard. Most of these foreign sannyasins were of very sound economic back ground and who had seen the futility of the power and prestige. Seeing their dedication and ability, Osho also started to prefer them for His overall work. Seeing this entire changing step, most of the Indian sannyasins started feeling jealous. This proved the genesis of differences among the Indian and foreign sannyasins. This substantially affected the future course of Osho's movement for the birth of a New Man.

Osho broke His silence after three years in 1984 and left His physical body in 1990. This period was to complete the circle --- the circle which was started in 1960 and reached to its original point in 1884. Osho again started to disown all those things which he had accepted in seventies: title of Bhagwan, Rajnishism, Marune cloths, Mala, Guru, Surrender…. Everything was discarded.

After 15 years of starting Sannyas initiation in Manali in 26th September, 1970, Osho made a very important declaration in which He destroyed with single stroke the religion which was growing around him. On that day Osho also relieved Sannyas from all external symbols. The same reads as under:

"And today I would like to declare something immensely important, because I feel perhaps this helped Sheela and her people to exploit you. I don't know whether tomorrow I will be here or not, so it is better to do it while I am here and make you free from any other possibility of such a fascist regime. That is, from today, you are free to use any color of clothes. If you feel like using red clothes, that is up to you. And this message has to be sent all over the world to all the communes. It will be more beautiful to have all the colors. I had always dreamed of seeing you in all the colors of the rainbow. Today we claim the rainbow to be our colors." "The second thing: you return your malas – unless you wish otherwise. That is your choice, but it is not a necessity anymore. You return your malas to President Hasya. But if you want to keep it, it is up to you." "The third thing: from now onwards, anybody who wants initiation into sannyas will not be given amala and will not be told to change to red clothes – so we can take over the world more easily!" These are the rights of the creators of these works to protect their works from interpolation, alteration and misrepresentation by any other person out of greed for money or power or prestige. Such actions amount to infringement of Trade Marks and Copyright laws.

Without Trade Marks and Copyrights of all works of Osho in the form of His discourses, videos , books and arts will be left open in the hands of so called religious leaders and politicians who were offended because Osho has called them as' mafia of the soul of man' to dilute them. Without such rights these will be left open to them to destroy the rebelliousness of His vision by deleting all that which is against their vested interests and add all that which goes in favor of 'priests and politician nexus'. Such nexus has been exploiting the humanity for thousands of years.

Osho has been fighting against the exploitation of organized religions in His whole life. The nexus of religious leaders and politicians, irrespective of their religious or political affiliation, will in the absence of Osho Trade Marks and Copyrights, be able to cause such immense harm to Osho's work as even U.S. government with all its material power could not cause.

Under these circumstances, now the question is not with whom these Trade Marks and Copyrights are vested, the question is that these should exist. It is the responsibility of every Osho lovers to first know what is the meaning and significance of Trade Marks and Copyrights of any work. Then they should decide out of their own wisdom and understanding whether to support or object Osho's Trade Marks and Copyrights. They should not act being impressed by the false propaganda being done by the so called Osho Friends International, Osho World Foundation and Osho Friends Foundation. Behind these so called Osho Friends International and others are those few so called old Indian sannyasins who left Osho Commune, Pune finding that in the changed situations there, there was no way to nourish their ego.

Osho Friends International has been promoted by Osho Sannyasins who had left Osho Commune, Pune in the year 2000-01 and subsequently. These sannyasins left the commune because they were not ready to accept any change in the system of managing the Osho Commune, Pune and change in the system of spreading Osho's message in the world i.e. change from 'Osho as Vision not as a Man'. There were difference of opinions between some so called old Indian sannyasins and western sannyasins. For instance Chaitannya Keerti who has been editor of Osho Times for a long period had developed emotional attachment to Osho's form did not want any change in magazine's design and presentation. He wanted full size photo of Osho on the cover of every issue of magazines and books whereas most of the sannyasins want to use many other beautiful pictures of objects available in existence. He wanted to give more space for interviews of Indian sannyasins whereas others wanted to publish in the magazine interviews of sannyasins having talent of international standard. Similar were other minor issues also.

These out going sannyasins had become stagnant and could not keep pace with the change that was taking place in the world of Osho by strictly following His vision. Many of them like Neelam and Keerti were holding important positions in Osho Commune, Pune. When they have to step down from their posts, they became revengeful and harbored jealousy towards those who were looking after Osho work worldwide. Moreover, INDIAN AND FOREIGN OSHO SANNYASINS SYNDROME among few old Indian sannyasins and western sannyasins was hampering the flow of Ganges of Osho's vision. There were arising difference of opinions on everything in the meetings of Inner Circle and Committee managing the Pune commune. But in the base of all this was anger and jealousy in action.

After leaving Pune commune, these Indian sannyasins started a campaign against Osho International Foundation, which has been holding the Trade Marks and Copyrights of Osho's works and against Osho International, which has been engaged in making Osho's words available to the world. This all was being done to destroy Osho Meditation Resort, Pune. They made their own platforms to start a campaign against Poona commune which is now being run by Osho Media and Resorts Pvt. Ltd. This commune is the head quarter of Osho International Foundation which owns the Trade Mark "OSHO' and Copyrights of Osho's works.

There is no place for bowing down and touching the feet of some person in the Vision of Osho. Such things are against human dignity. No one is higher or lower rather every human being is unique. Osho is against the trend of bowing down and touching someone's feet. His vision does not support such At the same time He is not against bowing, bowing to the whole existence. Osho himself never touched the feet of anyone even in His childhood. This tradition is no longer in practice in Osho Commune, Pune. But the Osho World Group, New Delhi and their facilitators of Gurudom are promoting the same. Perhaps they well understand it well that if nobody touches their feet all charm of being a Guru/Leader/Shivir Sanchalak will be lost. It appears they have not read the Book 'Trisha Gayee Ek Boond Se' yet. We are reproducing a relevant extract from the same for their information. In this book a question was asked from Osho as to why He refuses everyone to touch His feet. We give below opening part of the reply from: Trisha Gayen Ek Boond Se Discourse No. 4:

One friend has asked, why I refuse to touch my feet?

"I refuse because if you will touch any one's feet, then you will deprive yourself of touching the feet of that which is in all. There are other feet also which exist everywhere; eyes should be turned towards such feet. The moon and the stars have marks of these feet. The flowers and butterflies also have marks of those feet. The man, the stones also have marks of those feet. The hands should be folded towards those feet which are spread in boundless. There is no need to bow folded hands towards a particular person."

In the year 1984 and subsequently Osho seems to be not very much concerned about someone to engage in spreading His message. He was very much aware of the fact that people engaged in spreading His message may end up by being like Christian missionaries. Even in the earlier years i.e. some times in 1969 or 1970 he had made it very clear to the peoples who were involved in his work, that their individual development should be the first in priority and that spreading his message should be secondary. He did not want that his sannyasins should spend their valuable time for this work ignoring their own development. We are giving below the extract of one of Osho's discourses in 'Anant Ki Pukar' which were delivered some times in 1979/1970:

"You have to remember that no matter how involved you become in this work; it is not the most important thing. The most important thing is that bliss and light descends in your life. If you have that, you will be able to share. If you don't have that, you will not be able to share."

"So we do not want a functionary who is not a seeker. We don't need such functionaries, because if not today, then tomorrow, that functionary will start suffering. He will get into trouble and he will through the whole responsibility unto us: "They got me entangled in some work and I lost everything."

"A friend, Manik Prabhu, who is himself from Pune, went to Vinoba. He first went to Ramkrishna Mission and they placed him in a hospital – so for three or four years he served in a hospital. Then he felt, "This is okay, I could have done this work in any hospital, but what has it accomplished? It has not taken me anywhere. I am still where I was before."

"He left and went to Vinoba. Vinoba said," For ten years, walk aound the whole country taking my literature to every village."

"The poor man started going from village to village with his bag of publications. He has been traveling around for two years now. And about three days ago he came to Jabalpur and came to see me."

"So I said to him,"Now a second hospital round has started!"
"It is good that he has realized this after a just few years: "This is a hospital, all fine and good, but what has this changed within me?"


"What will he get by selling Gita Pravachen – Vinoba's book? Or if I take Gita Pravachan away from him and instead give him our Perfect Way or Seeds of Wisdom and ask him to go around selling them from village to village for ten years, what will that do for him?"

About thirty years back Osho's vision had become a worldwide phenomena. During these thirty years His message of meditation must have reached to those who have thirst for search of truth and a longing to change their lives. The main website www.osho.com and its supporting websites are playing very important roles in this respect. Those who do not have access to internet can buy C.D.s of Osho meditations which are cheap and provide complete guidance as well as visual demonstration (videos) showing how to experiment with these techniques. These C.Ds and DVDs are easily available worldwide from major dealers of this kind. However we will not betray our master to advise you to purchase pirated material which is being circulated by some greedy sannyasins in India. In India some of the genuine suppliers are: Osho Media International, 17-Koregaon Park, Pune 411 001(M.S.), SONY Music Entertainment (India) Pvt. Ltd. Mumbai and SHEMAROO Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Mumbai.

In view of above scenario, the time has come that the role of Osho Meditation Camp conductors, facilitators and sanchalaks can be dispensed with. Moreover it is not difficult to find someone who has practiced Osho Meditations by participating in Osho International Meditation Resort, Pune programmes. One can also learn the techniques by participating in such meditation programs himself in Pune or Meditation Centers strictly functioning on the same lines.

The mediators are no longer needed because these are proving harmful to the rebellious spirit of Osho's vision. Many of such mediators know little about the wishes of Osho how His work should be carried out. At several occasion Osho has said that most of the people become interested in religion out of greed and inferiority complex. Such sick persons with lust for money, power and respectability when become interested in religion, they uses religion also to gain these things. One can see this disease spreading in sannyasins who are Osho Meditation Camp conductors/facilitators/sanchalaks. Seeing the present situation there is no hope that these greedy sannyasins will understand the right way.

They are also creating groups of sannyasins and functioning inevitably as organization. In this way these mediators are bringing in hierarchy and gurudom in the vision and destroying its true spirit. These peoples are exploiting the name of Osho and His wisdom just to earn respectability, money and power which nourish the ego. Sooner they are eliminated is better otherwise the history will repeat and Osho's vision will fall in the main stream of other organized religions.

Out perception is that if only the Osho Camp Conductors or facilitators or sanchalaks could free themselves from helping others and devote their whole time and energy for realizing their own enlightenment, Osho's dream can be realized. That will be the greatest contribution to His work and immensely helpful to others. But in the present developments it appears impossible. Ego has blocked the way.

"A master can create a situation around you – just a situation, remember. … And only one who has got it within him, one who has passed through all the stages, one who has become a big tree, flowering – only he can create the situation around you. So a person who has not become enlightened himself cannot help you; on the contrary, he may hinder."

"And Gunakar is right, that it is one of the greatest crimes to claim enlightenment when you are not – because this is the greatest deception that you can give to humanity. It is the ugliest phenomenon. You can be a con man, cheat people out of their money, their belongings, their houses, their wives, their husbands, anything; that is immaterial, that does not matter much. But a con man as far as enlightenment is concerned is cheating you about your consciousness, about your very being. He is doing some kind of violence, which is invisible but which is the worst that can be done by any criminal."

MANY OSHO SANNYASINS HAVE EXPERIENCED TRUE ENLIGHTENMENT OR SAMADHI. MOST OF THEM PASSED AWAY WITH ENLIGHTENMENT. FEW WHO SURVIVED REMAINED SILENT. FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS MANY OF OSHO'S SANNYASINS HAVE BEEN CLAIMING TO HAVE EXPERIENCED ENLIGHTENMENT. BUT IN THEIR ORDINARY LIFE THEY HAVE BEEN AS UNCONSCIOUS AS ANY OHER PERSON. OSHO DHARA GROUP OR SO CALLED 'OSHO TRIVIR' I.E. OSHO SIDDHARTH, OSHO SHAILENDER AND OSHO PRIYA HAVE NOT ONLY CLAIMED TO HAVE BECOME ENLIGHTENED BUT ALSO CLAIM TO HAVE PUSHED MANY OF THEIR FOLLOWERS TOWARDS SAMADHI. THIS IS GOOD NEWS, BUT APEARS TO BE TOTALLY FALSE.

OSHO HAS REVEALED A SECRET ABOUT THE HAPPENING OF ENLIGHTENMENT WHICH WAS KNOWINGLY KEPT TOP SECRET FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS. IN HIS DISCOURSE DATED------- HE REVEALED THAT ENLIGHTENMENT OR SAMADHI GIVES SUCH A DEEP SHOCK TO THE PSYCHO-SOMATIC ORGANISM THAT 90 OUT OF HUNDRED PERSONS DIE INSTANTLY. OUT OF BALANCE 10, 9 LOSE CONTROL OVER THEIR BRAIN AND CANNOT DIRECTLY HELP OTHERS FOR ENLIGHTENMENT. THEY, AT THE MOST BECOME RELIGIOUS TEACHERS. ONLY SUCH PERSON CAN BECOME MASTER (GURU) AND HELP OTHERS. THE MOST INTELLIGENT PERSON OF THE WORLD I.E. EINSTEIN HAD USED ONLY 15% OF HIS BRAIN.

IN VIEW OF OSHO'S ABOVE DECLARATION, IF 'OSHO TRIVIR' HAS REALLY PASSED THROUH THE EXPERIENCE OF SAMADHI OR ENLIGHTENMENT, THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN DIED INSTANTLY ON THE DAY OF THEIR SO CALLED SAMADHI BECAUSE NONE OF THEM WERE ADVENTUROUS IN THEIR LIFE. THERE IS NO QUESTION OF THEIR BEING MASTERS OR GURUS, BECAUSE NONE OF THEM HAD USED 33% OF THEIR BRAIN.

Few Osho's disciples having vested interests, particularly those who had left Pune Commune in the year 2000 and thereafter, have spread the rumors among Osho sannyasins and friends that Osho's Samadhi in Pune Commune has been spoiled; and that the same has been shifted from Osho Commune, Pune to some other place by the Trustees of OIF. They have also expressed apprehension that now, according to them; the Commune at Pune, in the absence of Osho's Samadhi, will be sold. We came to know this rumor from an email message received from one of Osho's sannyasins who claimed to have been engaged in the business of publication of Osho's books. The email reads as under:

"While they say no Samadhi in the ashram, so they can sell the ashram. Recently I have visited the ashram and asked where is Samadhi everyone told there is no Samadhi but one Chuang Tzu hall is there for meditation. I have worked on Samadhi in 1996 for two months and now they have removed the photo of Osho and put the head statue. I will suggest these people are doing 'Guru Droha' and do not support them in any way. I am not in any group. So I am giving you suggestion as a fellow traveler and rest is up to you."

After receiving the above message we replied the same with following extract from a reply given by OIF on the point:-

"While in Pune, Osho used to reside in 'Chuang Tzu' House. As per Osho's instructions his ashes have been kept in his bed room. His instructions for the use of his bed room were simply that it would be "a place for people to meditate", and nothing else. Some people's idea that Osho would want people to "pay tribute" or seek "blessings" from his ashes is pure fantasy of the traditional spiritual mind against which Osho spoke for 35 years. Osho had said, "Except for this existence, you don't have any sacred place. This is the only holy, sacred temple. There is no other temple. All other temples are false, substitute to deceive and cheat you."Osho's interest was only in awareness, and not at all in these traditional substitutes presented in the guise of "spirituality". As Osho has put it, "It does not matter where awareness happens, what matters is that it happens. If it happens in a casino, then the casino has become a temple, a sacred place."

"And Chaitanya Kirti also cannot deny it, because we four persons – myself, Swami Chaitanya Kirti, Swami Anand Sant, Swami Vedant Bharti, used to play cards sitting in the room of Chaitanya Kirti in the Commune(Pune) while Osho had been discoursing." …………..'Whosoever'

These are the words of Swami Chaitanya Bharti, an Osho Sannyasin who has now changed his name and called 'Whosoever' by his followers. By saying so he has given an example in support of his claim that Osho never insisted that His sannyasins should meditate or participate in Osho White-robe Evening Meditation regularly. Such views from a long-time Osho sannyasin are simply ridiculous and shameful. How he has forgotten the meaning and purpose of being initiated by Oho into sannyas? Sannyas is one's commitment to the existence witnessed by an enlightened master to meditate and not to waste the time in mundane things because time is not money, time is life. Says Osho:-

"You have become a sannyasin. Now it is a responsibility on you to fulfill the commitment of sannyas – and that is meditation. Without meditation, there is no sannyas. It is only your pure consciousness rising upwards – slowly, slowly moving beyond the gravitation of lower things – that will make you a sannyasin."

"I can define sannyas as a flying experience to the stars … Don't waste your time, because time is not money, time is life."………………………… (OSHO)

Now, what can be said about Osho sannyasins who preferred to play cards while their master has been giving discourse nearby in the commune. And because nobody prevented them for doing so, they thought it as Osho's consent. But what has happened to your responsibility to fulfill the commitment of sannyas – and that is meditation. Rather than feeling shameful, they made it a great event – their freedom to do anything. Then why they took sannyas?

ALICANTE, SPAIN –On appeal from an earlier decision, the European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) once again confirmed on 23rd September 2015 the validity of the European Trademark “OSHO,” as well as ownership of the trademark by Osho International Foundation, Switzerland. (“OIF”) [Appeal No. R199712014-4 OSHO]

Robert Doetsch, aka Swami Ramateertha, on behalf of Osho Lotus Commune e.V. and supported by a group trying to gain control of the intellectual properties of Osho’s works, had tried since 2010 to invalidate a long-standing and well-known trademark.

Osho has been fighting in courts most of his life to defend his work from disgruntled disciples or from governments and religious organizations trying to destroy him and his work. Here we are 25 years after he left the planet, and still so-called disciples are using worldly courts, government authorities, and legal maneuvers to attack and damage the work of a mystic because they think they know better.
